Talk & Panel Discussion: What role can Craft Guilds play in the 21st century?

The Gloucestershire Guild celebrates all those who appreciate and understand the importance of craftsmanship and design. They will host this panel discussion to accompany the Guild’s 90th Anniversary Exhibition. Mary Greensted, a Guild Patron and celebrated writer on the arts and crafts movement, will give an introductory talk on the history of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen and then join the panel, chaired by Paul Harper a writer, teacher and researcher in the visual arts and crafts.

Neil MacGregor - leather craftsman and Guild member since 1985

Jessie James - a vibrant young local rug maker and Guild member
