Access to the Museum in the Park
The museum endeavours to provide the best quality service to all our visitors. We were awarded five stars by Accessible Gloucestershire - read their review here.
The museum is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Holders of a disabled badge can access our disabled parking through the barrier at the top left of the Stratford Park Leisure Centre car park. For more information see the parking heading on our Find Us page.
We have one wheelchair that can be borrowed free of charge, however booking is advisable.
Only trained assistance dogs are permitted in the museum grounds, including the walled garden. Please do not bring any other dogs or animals into the museum or walled garden. All dogs are permitted in the courtyard at the front of the museum where we provide water for them. We are in a wonderful parkland though, so there is plenty of space to stretch the legs of the most energetic of animals (and people)!
We have large-print information sheets available upon request at Reception, along with magnifying glasses.
We welcome those wishing to breastfeed. We are registered with the Gloucestershire Welcomes Breastfeeding scheme.
