Forward Plan Aim: Redesign and Redisplay of the Museum in the Park & Collections Storage Options

Opportunity: Stroud District Council in collaboration with the Stroud District (Cowle) Museum Trust is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to work with us and key stakeholders to research, develop and write a ‘project planning’ application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund as the first stage in our project to conserve and share the heritage of the Stroud District for now and the future through the redesign and redisplay of the Museum in the Park and storage of the collection.

The total fee for this commission is a fixed and non-negotiable £12,000. This is inclusive of all travel, subsistence and applicable tax (including VAT).

We anticipate this work being undertaken on a part-time basis and taking around six to nine months from end of October 2025 - subject to discussion with the successful bidder.

The closing date for submissions is midnight on Sunday 7th September.
