The Museum has a wonderful gift shop with a fantastic selection of gorgeous and unique gifts, from cards to books, toys to fossils, jewellery and more! You’re sure to find that extra special something for an extra special someone! We support local and have a great variety of artists and makers selling within our shop including: Ilo Clothing, Cymbal Knits, Anna Simson Ceramics, Karen Green Art, Sarah Davis Glass, Sweet like Clementine, Sorcha Bliss Studios and Freya Snow Textiles to name a few!

Food and Drink
The Museum offers a broad selection of hot and cold drinks, from freshly ground coffee to chilled juices, iced teas, coffees, even alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We offer de-caff and oat milk alternatives for hot drinks. We stock a wide range of high quality snacks, including Vegan and Gluten Free options and a delicious range of Ice Creams, including locally sourced Winstones Ice Cream tubs. Making sure no one is left out we have ice cream and snacks for doggies too!
NEW for 2025! We now stock a wonderful selection of locally made Lauren’s Catering Sandwiches. We offer a meal deal of sandwich, crisps and either a Dalston’s can or hot drink for £5.99 or sandwiches can be purchased separately. We also stock an amazing selection of locally made cakes by Made by Carly. Whether it is the decadent Victoria sponge or the mouth watering gluten free lemon drizzle, there will be a cake to tempt you! We also offer a deal of a hot drink and a slice of cake for £5.80.
We pride ourselves on being environmentally friendly and limit as much plastic as possible. The majority of our drinks and snacks are in recyclable or bio-degradable packaging, and have recycling bins on site, or please feel free pass to staff on the reception desk.
We have some indoor seating and there is also the option to sit outside in the courtyard.
Unfortunately your own food or picnics is not permitted in the walled garden or indoor areas. There are however plenty of lovely places in the 56 acre park for you to enjoy. Every purchase helps support this Free to Enter Museum.
