‘Memory Threads’ shows collections of things treasured and used which have been passed down through generations of Sue’s family. These ‘things’ are interwoven into her everyday life but this display will reveal an original way that such objects can be documented and the stories of their owners shared. Everyday domestic items including tools, pieces of clothing, buttons, jewellery, letters, postcards and pages from recipe books are recycled and copied, documented through drawing and papercuts to echo layers of time and the stories that these objects hold and the memories captured.
