Howard Beard has been collecting and rescuing old postcards and photographs for over forty years. In his new book - Favourite Photographs from the Stroud Valleys - he describes the ones he loves best: street scenes, people at work and leisure, events, dramas and celebrations in and around the district.

Drop in between 2pm and 4pm to meet Howard and see a selection of his favourite images on a rolling slideshow. Part of our Wednesday Warmer series, this informal event is free, with teas and coffees on offer and copies of the book available to buy (£10).
