If you think comic books are the best then you won’t want to miss this amazing comic-making workshop with author illustrator Tor Freeman.

In this hands-on session inspired by her bestselling Boss of the Underworld series, Tor will explain how to create expressive characters, visual jokes and action-packed comic panels, and will then help you create your own short strips.

Expect plenty of drawing, silliness, and step-by-step guidance from Tor, as she shares her years of experience as an award-winning graphic novelist and illustrator.

All materials provided. 30 places only. Accompanying adults do not need to buy a ticket but must remain on the premises for the duration of the workshop if their child is under 14. Part of the 2026 Stroud Book Festival programme.
