Join local artist and Walled Garden volunteer Ruth Illingworth and create an eco print picture on paper.

Ecoprint is the process of using leaves and flowers to produce permanent imprints of the plants themselves using steam as the heat source and tight binding to enable the plants to give their colour and shape to the paper or fabric.

After you have prepared your own image you will be given the opportunity to collaborate with the other participants to produce an ecoprint hanging to help celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Walled Garden.

Ruth has been creating dyes from Walled Garden plants and flowers and locally foraged material and has amassed a wealth of knowledge and skill. She presents this workshop as part of the Walled Garden 10th Anniversary Celebration programme.

Workshop takes place in the Walled Garden Pavilion, all materials provided. For adults, all abilities welcome.
