Do you have textiles that could be repaired? Would you like to save yourself some money and stop the objects going to landfill? As part of the Great Big Green Week, the Repair Café is coming to the Museum! Alongside this Collections Assistant, Fern Ryan, will be hosting a table of objects that reflect what we can learn from the past about sustainable living.
Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). You’ll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs and expert volunteers to help. The Repair Café is free but donations are always welcome to support running the event.
Repair Café will be hosted in collaboration with Atelier Stroud.
