Edward is an actor and musician who specialises in combining live theatre and piano performances to tell stories with both word and music. In this show, he presents one or more of Shakespeare’s timeless characters, and their story or stories, interwoven with music from across the ages chosen to balance and promote the telling of that story. Each show is different: you may hear several voices from a selection of plays in an arc of a story, or you may hear ‘Bottom between the Sheets’, ‘The Macbeths between the Sheets’, or ‘Malvolio between the Sheets’, in all their glory (or otherwise). Be prepared to laugh, to cry and to experience the whirligig of emotions that Shakespeare still stirs in us, aided by a wide range of melodies written for the piano, from classical to contemporary.
