The museum’s collections contain glass fragments, objects and vessels dating from ancient times to the modern day. From Roman beads and bracelets to Victorian tableware, via walking sticks, linen smoothers and rolling pins - our collections represent the art of the glass-maker across centuries. This single-case display shares just a few specially chosen objects from our collections – some are obviously beautiful, some are significant because of their age or craftsmanship, all have a story to tell.
