Take a journey back through the Ice Age when Britain was a very different place. See the many, and sometimes fantastical, animals that roamed our landscape: some that stalked and lolloped right here in Stroud. It was a strange world. A world with giant woolly mammoths, stocky woolly rhinoceroses, hyenas and cave lions. A world where two species of humans would have these amazing creatures. We will look back at the very first discoveries of Ice Age fossils through to the latest research, and what this can tell us about our present.
