Tuesday 26 & Wednesday 27 October: 10am, 11.30am & 2pm (£2 per person per session)
In these fabulous hands-on workshops with Stroudwater Textile Trust we’ll use ingredients from the kitchen cupboard and discover the colours we can make with them. Sometimes there will be surprises!
You will also be able to look at eco printing and natural dyes created by Ruth Illingworth whose exhibition will be an inspiring backdrop for these sessions.
These workshops last around one hour and are great fun for curious children aged 8+ and their parents or grandparents. Please wear old clothes or bring an old apron, and book ahead to ensure you have a place. There are 12 places per session. Grown ups who prefer not to take part can always look around the Museum, or visit the ‘Colour Conversations’ exhibition in the Art Gallery while their children enjoy the session.
