Having expressed herself, in the recent past, with textiles on a fairly large scale, Helen Williams has now returned to drawing and stitching in a highly detailed, closely-observed style. The framed pieces in this exhibition showcase her passion for the outdoor world of Nature, as well as details of an intimate interior.
In this collection, Helen presents her garden; the wildlife she encounters walking daily beside a nearby stream; her perennial love of the sea shore; her journeys to Ireland and Scotland, and also, familiar items in her kitchen.
These 50 works comprise pen drawings, paintings and needlepoint embroidery.
