BuzzClub Stroud is a volunteer-led community initiative which started in 2012 as an after-school club in St Dominic’s Primary School, South Woodchester. We then moved to the Allotments in South Woodchester and engaged with young children and local families. We were also instrumental in starting BuzzClub Ghana.
BuzzClub Stroud now meets in the Museum in the Park’s Walled Garden, usually on the last Sunday of each month. This year we will be recording what we see in the garden, flowers and insects, how the weather may affect activity and learn to understand the importance of protecting and enhancing our natural environment. We welcome all ages, both children and adults, we have honey bees that we can observe and view through a window in the hive. There is no charge, but donations are welcome. We also have hot drinks and cakes available to buy.
BuzzClub meetings are facilitated by volunteers Peter and Pat and run from 11.30am to 1pm, drop in for all or part of the time.
