Museum in the Park first threw open its doors to visitors in January 2001. Twenty five years on, we look back at the Stratford Park Mansion House before and after its transformation into a museum.

Over the years the Mansion has provided a home for wealthy clothiers, brewers, monks, orphaned children and ordinary working people. Discover this history and find out more about the project to save the house and garden from ruin.
