We’ve teamed up with Stroud Valleys Project to present this special event for families at The Museum in the Park - an interactive storytelling experience of Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, The Emperor and the Nightingale. Enjoy a classic fairy tale told in a new way, through interactive storytelling, as author, performer and artist Steven Skinley shares the magical narrative while dancer Marie-Louise Flexen portrays the Nightingale, inviting children to join in if they wish.
After the performance, children can take part in a crafting activity, designing and making their own magical bird mask to take home.
Most suitable for ages 5 to 10 years old (children must be accompanied by a parent/carer).
Booking is recommended as places are limited: £3 per family group, or free if cost is a barrier - contact Stroud Valleys Project (SVP) to book or if you have any questions.
