Come and meet acclaimed textile artist Siân Martin, one of the Textile Study Group makers whose work is included in the ‘UNmaking’ exhibition. Siân will be in residence in the Art Gallery and you are welcome to ask questions and share ideas.

Siân’s work explores ways to convey movement and layering, joining multiple shapes to create illusions of motion. Using cloth, paper, natural materials, and threads, she is inspired by the landscapes of her home in Somerset, particularly the wetlands. Her pieces connect the natural beauty of the area with themes of conservation.
