In 2024 and 2025 Cardiff University conducted a research study of women’s experiences of living with the menopause. Out of the 40 women interviewed, 10 were from the Stroud District. This display showcases their project and shares some of their early findings.
“What is it like to be living with the menopause in the contemporary UK? How does it affect women’s relationships with their bodies and with others? How does it shape their everyday lives? These questions are at the heart of this in-depth research aiming to share women’s everyday experiences of the peri-menopause and menopause.”
