Stroud-based poet Adam Horovitz launches his new book of poetry with readings in the Walled Garden Pavilion. ‘Slow Migrations’ explores the deep history of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, through the lenses of Corinium Museum’s Neolithic gallery and the Roman baths at Bath. An exploration of England before it became England and English. A delving into and re-imagining of the connections between ancient times and now, and how this country was built - indeed as all countries are - from the migratory pathways of people and animals over many millennia.
