Two local poets will read poetry concerning trees and woodland while the Sonic Woodland sound installation plays. There will be pauses where the audience will be able to absorb the ever changing mood of the installation.
JLM Morton will read her new poem Forest and Philip Rush will read some recent poems. Doors open at 7.30pm, readings start at 8pm, and finish at 8.45 pm. The Walled Garden will be open until 9.30pm.
Bring umbrellas, warm layers and an open mind - this is an outdoor event!
Sonic Woodland is a woodland sound installation by Joe Acheson and Tim Southorn. Originally commissioned by Kew Gardens for the botanical forest at Wakehurst, Sussex.
It is presented outdoors in the Museum’s Walled Garden thanks to support from Stroud Arts Festival.
