This beautiful collection of tableware was designed and made by local young people who are struggling to attend school. Together with their parents and carers they attended a Cookery and Ceramics course at Quarry Chapel, Cam, to explore new skills in a safe environment. Over 10 weeks participants created their own personalised dinner set with local ceramic artist Karen Hilliard. They also learnt new cookery skills and rounded off the course by cooking a feast that was eaten off their own hand-made tableware!

This display showcases some of the wonderful pieces made through this project, which was funded by the Barnwood Trust.
