We’re delighted that the historic 1930s bandstand outside the Museum will be hosting FREE Sunday afternoon concerts this summer. Bring picnic blankets or chairs to sit on, and relax and enjoy in the open air. Concerts are organised by Stroud District Council and usually take place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm (weather permitting). See below for the line up so far, and don’t forget to pop in to see us if you need ice creams, hot or cold drinks or toilets / use of our baby changing room.
25 June: Nailsworth Silver Band
23 July: Stroud Area Wind Orchestra (2-4pm)
30 July: no band today, but there’s an outdoor theatre show instead, ‘Hercules’, at the Museum’s walled garden (click here for details)
6 August: Stroud Red Band
3 September: Lydney Town Band
10 September: Adelphi Dance Band
17 September: Forest of Dean Brass Band
