Come and join Periscope artist duo Emily Joy and Alison Cockcroft and be part of The Wild Escape at The Museum in the Park this Spring. Bring our butterfly and moth collection to life by creating a magical 3D installation which will be unveiled on Earth Day, 22 April. Use your imagination, creativity and sense of fun to design a wonderful world where nature thrives!
Thanks to a grant from Art Fund, you can enjoy FREE drop-in workshops on 11, 12, 13 and 14 April between 11am and 4pm. Then come along between 11am and 3pm on 22 April to see your artwork and enjoy our Earth Day celebration - we’ll be joined by friends from Stroud Valleys Project for a fun-filled day of indoor and outdoor adventures. All ages welcome.
The Wild Escape is made possible by lead support from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants, with additional support from Art Fund. It is a major participatory project for UK museums and schools inspired by the wildlife found in museum and gallery collections.
