Branch Line - taking a creative look at trees

  • The Museum in the Park Stratford Park, Stratford Road Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, GL5 4AF United Kingdom (map)

If you’ve yet to discover the magical gem that is Prema (in Uley), you’re in for a treat, as they are bringing their special brand of hands-on creative happiness to Stratford Park! Prema’s Everybody Draw events are all about people coming together to explore, discover and have heaps of fun, regardless of their age or level of experience with drawing. This afternoon’s focus is all about having fun and trying out a variety of drawing and making techniques and styles with no fixed expectations about how things “ought to look”.

Come along and join a team of talented, warm and generous artists who know how to help everyone get the very best from mark-making and taking a line for a walk! We’ll be taking inspiration from the many magnificent species of trees within Stratford Park. There will be heaps of resources and workstations from which we warmly invite you to experiment with materials and new ways of looking and seeing.

Branch Line is ideal for all ages and abilities and provides a brilliant, free afternoon out for families and friends. Dress for the occasion and don’t forget good shoes for strolling. Wear your best drawing pants and bring along your most kind-to-yourself “can-do” approach to our afternoon of mark-making and drawing. Look forward to seeing you there. It’s gonna be immense!

Free to attend but donations on the day would be very welcome.
