As midwinter approaches, what could be better than gathering together to listen to magical tales from long ago? Storytellers Anthony Nanson and Kirsty Hartsiotis return to the museum to tell some of the enchanting stories in their new book ‘Gloucestershire Folk Tales for Children’. Will you meet a giant or two? Or find out how the owl came to be? There may be sea monsters or fairies. And maybe a cat and a hare. You’ll have to come along to this special event to find out!
After the performance, warming drinks will be served and there may even be some mince pies or Christmas biscuits too. Copies of the book will also be on sale … why not get it signed by the authors as a Christmas treat for you or your family or friends. We hope you can join us!
