Did you know the Museum has a fantastic collection of lace?

With examples from the 17th century to the 20th century, and from every major lace-making centre in Europe the collection is amazingly diverse and high quality.

Not normally displayed due to its fragility, this is a rare opportunity to see this incredible collection.

Please note, the curator is not an expert in lace, however various books on lace-making and lace identification will be available for visitors to consult.
