On Wednesdays this winter we’ll be running local history slideshows on repeat in our warm meeting room and we’d love to see you if you can drop in for a cup of tea or coffee. Come on your own or with a friend or neighbour, feel free to bring your knitting, a book to read or a board game to play, or just call in, relax and see photographs of the local area in times gone by. And don’t forget to visit or re-visit the museum displays too: learn about our area’s rich heritage and history through fascinating objects from dinosaur bones to dinner plates, from lace to lawnmowers and everything in between!
