Children and their parents and grandparents are invited to drop in today to draw their favourite museum objects inside, or the majestic trees of Stratford Park outside. Collect your FREE mini sketchbook and take yourself on a sketching adventure. For ages 4+, children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Borrow a pencil from us, or bring your own outdoor art kit.

Please note: only pencils can be used when drawing inside the museum, and we ask all visitors to be super careful when they move around the displays. Inks and paints are not allowed inside - they may cause damage to the historic objects on display, as can food/drink (also not allowed inside the museum rooms). You can also help keep the collections safe by leaving your buggies/scooters in the ‘buggy park’ … please ask at reception when you visit.
