Drop in and draw … outdoor art activities for everyone to enjoy!
Come along to Stratford Park and enjoy drawing, sketching, painting and doodling inspired by the glorious parkland settings, its trees, plants, wildlife and views. Inspiring illustrator Tracy Spiers will be on hand to offer fun tips and share advice and examples. Fabulous and FREE outdoor family art activities for all ages and abilities … meet outside the Museum. Materials will be available but bring your own outdoor art kit if you prefer.

Meet the Buzz Club and learn more about bees and pollinators
Meet illustration student Non O’Brien and have a go at creating cartoon characters inspired by plants or flowers (activity designed by Fumio Obata, supported by Arts Council England)

Note: Artist Alison Vickery was looking forward to running this event but she is now isolating. We hope she’ll be back at the Museum soon! A big Thank You to Tracy for stepping in at such short notice.
This event will move to the Walled Garden Pavilion if the weather is very wet and stormy. Please bring your raincoats and umbrellas in case we have light showers.
