Enjoy a day learning a traditional craft with the beautiful, light and airy Garden Pavilion as your base. Weave a simple, beautiful basket using traditional techniques and English willow, with expert tuition from basketmaker and Gloucestershire Guild member Susan Early. Your finished basket can be used for bread or fruit, or as a gift if you can bear to part with it. All materials provided, but please wrap up in warm layers and bring a pair of fingerless gloves. The willow will be stored outside where it can be kept damp, and the doors will be left open for good ventilation. 

Tea and coffee included but please bring a packed lunch. This workshop is for adults and ages 16+, all abilities welcome. Susan’s classes usually sell out so early booking recommended!
