My Nature is an exciting exhibition of experimental textiles from Select Trail's Guest Artists in France, Thailand, Taiwan and Great Britain. Each artist explores textiles, consumerism and the environment using print, stitch, weave and natural dye techniques. Curator Emma Neuberg specializes in cross-cultural design and brings together an international group to stimulate new conversations across the festival and its communities.

Artists exhibiting:

  • Marian Lynch: Textiles Print - Head of Textiles, Morley College, London, with a focus on ecological print & dye techniques
  • Lola Ley: Textiles Dye - William Morris Gallery Artist-in-Resident and member of The New Craftsmen, with natural dye research & techniques
  • Pauline Dumas: Textiles Print & Stitch - French textile design student at Chelsea College of Art with a focus on self-expression inspired by the natural world
  • Archana Pathak: Textiles Print & Stitch - resident artist at Textiles Hub London with focus on sustainability and well-being
  • Chayanit Jinnasith: Textiles Stitch & Fashion - Thai textile design student at Chelsea College of Art with a focus on global warming
  • Pei-Chi Lee: Embroidery & Fashion - Taiwanese textiles student at the Royal College of Art with a focus on embroidered story-telling
  • Lucille Junkere: Textiles Dye - former William Morris Gallery Artist-in-Resident and Winston Churchill Lifetime Fellow for indigo & slave trade research, with a focus on Nigerian and Jamaican inspired indigo embroidered samples
