Turn plastic waste into something useful and beautiful! Learn how to re-use wasted fishing gear and sea plastic to make a new bowl, place mat or basket in this day workshop with Nina Brabbins. She’ll teach you the basic process of coil basketry and at least one stitch that can be used in this process, using natural yarn and plastic ghost nets. All materials and tools provided as well as tea and coffee, please bring a packed lunch. You can also bring along waste plastic from home, such as old shopping bags, to see if these can be incorporated into your new creation.
