Echoes in Enamel: From the Kitchen to the Factory

Sue Brown

Exhibited from 3 March - 26 April, 2015

This foyer showcase exhibition will be the first instalment in artist Sue Brown's World War One commemorative project, Echoes in Enamel. Sue will be taking inspiration from collections items relating to World War One and using them to create new art works.

This part of the project sees Sue being inspired by the Museum’s photographs of female munitions workers at TH & J Daniels in 1918. The resultant work will be displayed alongside original artefacts and the Museum hopes that the display will help the stories of these women come to life and encourage our visitors to engage with the collections in a new way.

Part of the Museum in the Park's World War One Commemoration Programme.
