Cuts a Fine Figure

Yasemin Wigglesworth

Exhibited from Thursday 1 January - Sunday 1 March, 2015

A Mini Showcase Exhibition in Gallery 1

Yasemin Wigglesworth is a paper cut artist who works from a small home-based studio in Stroud. Each of her pieces is unique and entire, cut by hand from a single sheet of paper. She is inspired by nature, the Arts & Crafts movement, East Asian woodblock prints and tapestries, and having grown up in Istanbul, by Iznic ceramic designs. This small but stunning collection showcases examples of her intricate and beautiful creations.

Showing in conjunction with our Gallery 1 exhibition Wycinanki: Art of Polish Paper Cuts.
